My first experience with the healing power of touch took place at a nursing home. While holding my mother-in-law’s hand, the softness in her eyes communicated the importance of the body’s need for touch. This event, was the catalyst for enrolling at the North Eastern Institute of Whole Health in Manchester, NH. While studying massage therapy, and the mind body connection, I knew I was on the path for life’s next journey.

Our office has been open since Spring 2005 and we keep our skills current through continuing education courses.

More than a luxury, massage is a vital part of self-care that has a positive ripple effect. Massage has the ability to affect every system of your body – general muscular tension and aches, tension headaches, muscular back pain, poor circulation, stress and anxiety are just a few. Therapeutic massage can also help balance the effects of stress in our lives by triggering the “relaxation response” – relaxing tense muscles, blocked energy flow, improving immune system functioning and restoring a calm mind and feeling of well-being.

Be Well
